We're Engaged!
As with any wedding planning, we begin with a partner, a proposal, and a ring.
7th May 2017, while out on a picnic for my fiance's (then boyfriend) birthday - prosecco in tow, obviously - he began the speech which ended on one knee. I had an inkling, but even that didn't stop me freaking out, saying "what're you doing?!" far too much, and tearing up as anyone would.
Although the proposal itself was a complete surprise, I was lucky enough to get to pick my own ring! I chose this gorgeous lavender swarovski stone in a beautifully understated flower setting from Jewlr.
I'm definitely ready to begin the next chapter of my life, with the most incredible, kind and genuine fiance. Here's to the future!
